“Do it the Ry Way” Is about putting the trust back into trade services, which we are passionate about. Whilst we cannot always guarantee that everything goes as smoothly as wished for, in an industry with so many unknowns. We can always guarantee to make sure we look into any situations fairly and ensure if needed we make it right for our customers. This is doing it “The Ry Way” and part of our guarantee to our customers. We spend a lot of time reviewing our processes, workmanship and customer service - and always aim to bring our customer top caliber tradesmen and service.

Our Story
Ry Group was started by Ryan O'Sullivan in 2007 as RyGas in Morden, Surrey. Ryan built up a reputation for excellence in customer service and skill in trades such as gas, plumbing, heating, electrical & building services.
One of the things we are most proud of is we still have many original clients all the way back since 2007 .. and many people still call us RyGas.
Sarah Quartermaine joined the company in 2014 and still today its very much a family run company.
We started to build upon our services offered, as well as expanding our network of local trusted tradesmen.. but many people still assumed we only offered Gas Services ... so we started upon our rebranding of RyGas.
We started renaming our separate departments becoming RyGas RySparks RyBuild - but as our experience grew so did our services and we couldn't end up with with a list as long as our arm. Such as RyNewables & RyPlumb.
& Voila' .... we therefore decided upon Ry Group your local trusted tradesmen was born.
We have a passion to rebuild trust within the domestic & commercial sector. We do this by clear transparent communication, vetted & monitored engineers, top notch customer service and first class software.
We have big plans on how we can continue to better and expand upon our services & customer journey. Along with expanding our reach to more customers across the U.K. We openly welcome any fellow passionate persons to get in touch on our careers page.

Workmanship Guarantee
Ry are so confident in our skill, that we provide our own 12 Month Workmanship Warranty to our customers subject to our T&C’s. This means that if you experience any issues with work carried out within 12 months, that is caused by a workmanship fault. We will rectify it free of charge. You can read more about it here

We're Diehard Supporters of
Ry have been supporting the NHS and their staff for the past 8 years. They look after us and we want to look after them. We offer a special discount of 10% on hourly rate works, that are planned within normal hours.
Every year for the past 3 years - Ry have supported our local Merton Age Uk with using our vans for deliveries and drop offs as we fly around. Along with donating funds for Christmas such as presents, party decorations, games etc. This cause is very close to Sarah Quartermaine heart and we hope to get more involved in helping our older community stay comfortable with alone living in future.
Ry have been sponsors of AFC Wimbledon football club for the last 5 Years. This connection goes deeper than just being our local club. Ryan our Director played for the team in his youth and we have now seen them go from Kingsmeadow to their amazing new local stadium at Plough Lane.

The job was for the trace and fix of a leak and we were worried that it would be a huge job of ripping up bathroom tiles, but luckily Paul was able to identify where the leak was coming from, by taking off the bathroom panel, advise on the issue and fixed it within two hours - much to our relief. He was friendly, worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards - really happy to have contacted Ry Group and would do so again!

No complaints about the quality of work, tidiness, punctuality etc. but there were some negatives. In particular (1) RyGas reserve the right to charge a 50% cancellation charge if you do not cancel within 24 hours, however they only notified me of the planned arrival time of the engineer at 7PM the evening before via email which was less than 24 hours from the appointment time; (2) I was charged significantly more than quoted for the job, which was disappointing given that the engineer didn't know how to do the job initially and needed to "phone a friend" to figure out what to do, so claiming the job took longer than expected seems unreasonable - I resent paying for someone to learn on the job; (3) the engineer took away the old tap without asking what I wanted to do with this - as it happened it was a new tap which had only been installed as a temporary replacement to the original tap which had broken so I am down £100 on a perfectly good tap and charged 50% more than I expected for a simple job.Uodate: In fairness to Ry group they did contact me after this review was published and credited me back so that I was charged the price originally quoted. I appreciated the response and have uprated accordingly

RyGas saved us once again. Their phone lines are manned by extremely proficient and helpful staff, who immediately put you at ease & do their best to sort out quick appointments / solutions. On this occasion a plumber materialised faster than expected, despite it being a Bank Holiday, & we received the usual courtesey call/s to inform / update us. Operatives always try to work quickly & efficiently & they don't dilly dally to up the charges, which some unreliables unfortunately do. RyGas are reliable. They explain their charges up front and on each visit, we have encountered very personable, well trained and competent staff. I am happy to recommend RyGas to others.

Ryan and his team deserve top marks for their outstanding work on the complete refurbishment of our flat in Richmond.They installed new wiring, plumbing, heating and flooring; fitted a new boiler, bathroom, kitchen, doors and cupboards; in addition they did all the plastering and painting.All the team members were extremely professional, friendly and punctiliously tidy. Ry reacted very promptly to my message via check a trade and gave me call. They have send contractor as soon as they could and after we have agreed on price, they have ordered parts and booked for job to be done. Communication was great! Staff were polite and courteous when taking my call, and after a brief conversation, suggested an engineer to visit to troubleshoot my problem. I received an email and text the day before the appointment, and the engineer arrived bang on time. He (George) was polite, courteous and professional; he explained his work and his conclusions, and the suggested remedial works. I was advised that a quotation would be emailed to me in due course, and it arrived the day after. The cost of the work was in line with other companies. Overall, a good customer experience.

Excellent service from Ry again. I have used them for many years for various plumbing and electrical issues and have always had a first class experience. I had an electrical issue late Friday night and called the out of hours emergency contact, who went out his way to have an electrician contact me to run through a small issue I had but needed some expertise. I received a call from the engineer within 10 minutes from an extremely helpful man, who took his time to fullt go through my issue and resolve. These kind of gestures show why I have used Ry for so many years and continue to recommend their work and professionalism!

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find reliable tradesmen who provide any level of service at all so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys for anything you need!

We have used RyGas for several years with fantastic results after their visit. They are Reliable, professional with great customer care from start to finish. Their pricing is competitive and you receive great value for money. We struggled to find a reliable contractor to help with our many properties until we came across RyGas, RySparks, RyBuild and we haven't used anyone else since. They should change their name to "Ry-Liable"

RyGas installed a boiler/central heating system in my flat. There had previously been nothing in place but two ancient gas heaters that couldn't be used, so it was quite an involved job, starting from scratch. They did a fantastic job from the moment they arrived, kept me informed the whole time and made sure I came home to a nice tidy place each day while the work was going on, and then a nice toastie place when the work was completed! RyGas/RySparks also did several plumbing and electrical jobs for me while the boiler work was going on, as I had a load of things that needed fixing or upgrading. Again, everything was carried out super efficiently and I'm really pleased with it all. I would highly recommend using RyGas. They are professional, friendly and provide an excellent service.

Had a new boiler & power flush. From start to finish, RyGas is clearly a company that takes pride in its customer service. They were professional and on task from start to finish. The cost of the works was competitive and the fitter was absolutely lovely. I didn't even know he was there or had been in my home except for the fact that I had heating downstairs again! There really were no negatives, I was very pleased and would recommend.

Rygas came and gave a quote for replacing a downstairs very old toilet and replacement of taps and a click clack plug hole. We received the quote quickly. We also had asked 2 other companies to come and review. Jason rang up and asked me if I had received the quote. At the time my husband was very hesitant as he was concerned that in replacing this toilet would lead to it jutting out further in a very tight space. Jason reassured me that they would do their best to source a suitable toilet which they did.Frankie came to do the work and did an amazing job, was cheerful, hardworking and conscientious and we are delighted with the finished product!I would also like to thank the office staff for helping to source suitable products. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. A big thank you!
